ADMISSION
/ DISMISSAL
Students are admitted to Cornerstone Christian School on the
basis of attitude, previous academic achievement,
interviews, and placement tests. It must be understood that
if a student does not cooperate in maintaining high ideals
of academic achievement and Christian conduct, he will be
asked to withdraw. No one has a right to attend; it is a
privilege that must be earned and respected. At Cornerstone
we believe that each child deserves every opportunity to
improve and succeed we must not and will not become a
repository for those who choose not to improve. At this
time, we do not have facilities to accommodate handicapped
children or children with certain learning differences. We
will add special education classes as our enrollment
increases. We do not have the proper facilities for special
education programs at this time.
Registrations are taken subject to approval by the
Administration and on a space available basis. Enrollment is
limited in each classroom. All students are accepted on a
nine-week trial basis.
Current student status will be reviewed annually, and the
student re-enrolled on the basis of academic progress and
disciplinary record. Dismissal may occur when a student or
parent is found to be out of harmony with the purpose and
the policies of the School, or for failure of the parent(s)
to adhere to the financial payment plan. All charges to a
student's financial account must be cleared before any
report cards or transcripts will be released. Readmission
will be at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
Withdrawals from School must be made through the office in
writing by the parent or guardian. Tuition and fees continue
until withdrawal is completed.
NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY
Cornerstone Christian School admits students of all races,
color, national and ethnic origins to all the rights,
privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or
made available to students at the school. It does not
discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic
origin in administration of its educational policies,
admission policy, scholarship and loan programs, athletic
programs and other school administered programs.
